NYSID Honored Industry Innovators
New York, New York – March 7, 2018 – More than 250 Interior designers, industry innovators, professionals, and design enthusiasts were in attendance for the annual New York School of Interior Design Gala on Tuesday night, March 6, in Midtown Manhattan, which honored the achievements of visionaries who have had a significant impact in the worlds of interior and landscape design, while raising scholarship funds for the next generation of creative leaders.
This year’s guests of honor included the Albert Hadley Lifetime Achievement recipient, Suzanne Rheinstein; the Thomas N. Armstrong III Award in Landscape Design recipient, Jorge Sánchez; and the Green Design Award recipient, Edwina von Gal.
“Curiosity and generosity are two things I would like to be remembered for – a curiosity about so many things in this wondrous world,” said, Suzanne Rheinstein as she accepted her award. “Tonight, I want to thank you for your generosity. The funds raised at this event will provide scholarships to talented students to explore their studies – contemporary and historical – about which they’re curious and I am so pleased to be a part of making this happen.”
