Standing in solidarity, not silence
At this moment citizens across the world are rising collectively and voicing outrage against the violent acts of police brutality on African Americans, of which George Floyd is the latest tragic victim. This sad, repetitive pattern of events closely mirrors incidents of the 1960’s, as our nation historically wrestled with social injustice. Yet today, as we watch many Americans of all races march throughout the United States, we see even greater diversity, inclusion, and recognition of the need for shared responsibility to ensure justice and equality for all. On behalf of the New York School of Interior Design, we offer our condolences to the family of George Floyd and extend our hands to the nation as we join together in a united front against racism.
