The New York School of Interior Design is pleased to announce its annual Gala. Gala 2025 will take place on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at a private club in Manhattan.
This exhibition at New York School of Interior Design focuses on hand drawings by 12 established and emerging New York-based architects and interior designers. Drawings and design portfolios from the New York School of Interior Design Archives provide context for this contemporary work.
The New York School of Interior Design will celebrate more than 121 graduating students on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. Commencement will recognize and celebrate the hard work of the college's talented graduates who have finished their education and are starting a bright future in interior design.

NYSID Alumna Anne Duffy ’92 (BFA), who passed away last February, and her husband, John Duffy, have made a pledge of a million-dollar donation to the New York School of Interior Design. The funds will go toward the Anne K. Duffy Travel Fund, which will provide scholarships and travel grants that enable NYSID students to travel to Latin America, Africa, and Asia.

The New York School of Interior Design is proud to announce the appointment of healthcare designer and personal experience advocate Suzy Genzler as director of the Master of Professional Studies in Healthcare Interior Design (MPSH) program. Suzy is a Senior Associate, Healthcare Designer at NK Architects, an Evidence Based Design (EDAC) certified professional, and actively involved with the larger healthcare community, serving as co-chair of Program committee for Women in Healthcare, New York Metro Chapter. Her recent client roster includes Mount Sinai, Montefiore, NYU Health, Mercy College, St. Barnabas Hospital and Hackensack Meridian. She is the point person for NK’s JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion) initiative. Suzy holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from NYSID.
NYSID’s Master of Professional Studies in Healthcare Interior Design is an innovative, interdisciplinary program that provides designers an opportunity to learn from practicing healthcare designers, medical planners, Capital Projects team members in healthcare institutions, and healthcare environment researchers. The curriculum provides a broad and deep knowledge of current issues, research, and theory in the design of healthcare interiors that is applied in focused studio experiences.

Atelier: The Year in Review
The Atelier is an annual publication that touches upon the highlights from the academic year—the special events, the exhibitions, the awards, and of course, the classes and student work, with a section dedicated to outstanding thesis and capstone projects from the graduating class.
Viewbook
NYSID’s View Book is a guide to all the College has to offer. It is an overview of all of our academic programs, campus facilities as well as our student life and public programs. The publication also gives prospective students the opportunity to hear directly from current students, faculty, staff, and alumni on what makes NYSID a wonderful and enriching learning environment.
Academic Catalog
NYSID’s Academic Catalog is published annually and is primarily intended for use by currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff. It provides an overview of the College’s curriculum and academic programs and includes academic policies, rules, regulations, and procedures; information about degree and certificate programs, including requirements; a listing and description of courses; and faculty information.
Institute for Continuing and Professional Studies Bulletin
NYSID’s Institute for Continuing and Professional Studies bulletin is published three times a year—in the fall, spring, and summer. It lists the full range of courses that are available each semester in all aspects of interior design and its related fields—including noncredit workshops, undergraduate courses for credit, and professional development classes carrying CEUS and LUs. Student Handbook
The Student Handbook provides a guide to life at NYSID and a straightforward explanation of the College’s policies and procedures on academic programs and student life. It is also a resource for students, providing important information on the services NYSID provides as well as measures to guarantee them.
