The Expertise of New York School of Interior Design, On Your Schedule.

NYSID's online programs and classes are all about convenience and flexibility without sacrificing any of the academic rigor of an onsite class. You’ll watch lectures and interact with the same faculty members that teach in our classrooms, receive assignments, participate in discussion boards, and get to know your classmates the way you would in person.

NYSID is committed to offer more choice and expanded access through online learning and will continue to invest in our online presence .

Two Types of Online Learning Experiences

Self-Paced: Individual classes, the Basic Interior Design certificate, and Associate in Applied Science in Interior Design are self-paced and asynchronous. You can sign in whenever you can to watch pre-recorded lectures and get weekly assignments. Weekly login participation is required.

Real-Time: The MPS in Sustainable Interior Environments program and the MPS in Lighting Design are conducted synchronously. You join your instructor and classmates via video conferencing for discussions in real time.

The concept of maximum flexibility is the future of higher education. Choice is good for people.

“You do not feel like you're online at all. It's like physically being in a classroom. The professors can be easily reached, and the format is well structured so it’s almost instinctive to successfully complete the courses.”
