The proposed Community & Disaster Relief Center, Centro Soler, will offer retreat to residents to freely enjoy indoor/ recreational space, educational activities, arts, local gastronomy, and office space. Built and designed sustainably to both maximize local resources with minimal impact to the site. In its transformed state, this facility will be able to offer shelter, sleeping accommodations, food, and medical attention. This proposal is a local solution to a rich and diverse community that is at high risk of natural disaster impact.
